Knights Inn in Flesherton is a great place to stay if you are planning a skiing, boating, golfing or mountain biking vacation, as all are within a few miles of the Inn. The Inn is close to the Bruce Trail, the Kolapore Uplands, and Eugenia Falls. The restaurant adjoining the Inn is cozy and welcoming and the two owners will make sure that your stay will be comfortable.
Pankaj Desai has run the inn since December 7, 2007, along with his wife Priti Pankaj Desai, who prepares all the meals. They were wed in 1989 (an arranged marriage) and are the parents of 20-year old Aakash Pankaj Desai, who helps out when he is home from college. The couple lived in the Congo from 1984 to 2007, when they moved to Flesherton and took over the inn.

Asian / Canadian Food Offerings at Knights Inn
A few of their restaurant offerings include the Grey County Breakfast which includes:
- The Beginner....2 eggs, with bacon or ham or sausage
- The Intermediate... with 2 eggs, bacon or sausage or ham with home fries
- The Expert...2 eggs, bacon, sausage, ham and home fries
Two Indian dishes are Bhurji, scrambled eggs with vegetables for $3.50 and Pohe... rice flakes and potatoes spiced with raisins and peanuts. A great non-Asian inspired favorite is eggs Benedict Arnold with poached eggs, black forest ham, cheddar cheese on a toasted English muffin. Another popular dish is the stuffed French toast, with cream cheese, pecans, honey and a fruit medley.
All meals are prepared on the premises by Priti, who is an amazing chef. Her husband takes care of the business end and the seating of hungry customers in the dining room. For lunch, diners may choose from six salads, soup of the day or samosas. The Mediterranean chicken sandwich has spinach, sauteed onions, mustard, red peppers, chicken and crumbled feta cheese.
Other entrees include quiche, schnitzel and steak pie. Quite enough to satisfy the appetites of hungry ski enthusiasts. Priti also makes several Indian dishes upon request. Dessert includes a wonderful Kulfi (Indian ice cream) and Kheer (cardamom flavored warm rice pudding). The restaurant is licensed. Reservations are suggested for parties of twenty or more.
